The concert "Daughters" integrates the concept of Enno Cheng’s album, drawing inspiration from a chapter titled "How the Brain Got Language?" in Wu Ming-Yi's "The Land of Little Rain" This chapter led to discussions that formed the basis for the entire album, which revolves around the concept of "communication".

People, driven by the desire to communicate with others, employ various methods to achieve this goal. This necessity prompts us to consider the mediums through which communication can be realized, leading to the continuous evolution of language. Language becomes an ever-updating and transforming tool, enabling more possibilities for communication.

Communication methods evolve with technology and time. Examples include a baby's cries, facial expressions and hand gestures in sign language, the use of light and sound signals, and even the symbolic Morse code. These methods exemplify the evolution and development of communication through basic elements.

Consequently, we have organized the concert into four main elements: body, text, sound, and symbols. These elements are not bound by a fixed sequence but can be continuously combined and applied to create new possibilities.

By utilizing different elements, the possibilities for achieving communication are infinite. Corresponding to the stage design of the entire program, we use four layers of square LED screens, which can be individually moved vertically and horizontally to form various screen configurations. This symbolizes the neutral communication elements, where different combinations and sequences produce chemical reactions that shape the overall experience.

Through the concert, we hope to convey to the audience that various aspects and methods can also deliver a complete message. Using music, visuals, body language, and text, the core spirit of the songs we wish to convey can be better received.

Beyond providing an enjoyable audiovisual experience, we aim to ensure that the profound meanings, including humanistic care, can continue to resonate and grow in the hearts of every audience.
